Brian Inglis / Solista
Brian has a wealth of performing under his belt as a covers artist and an original material performer. In his time has toured, appeared on television and worked with artists such as Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake), Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Charlie McKraken (ex-Taste), Duane Eddy, Frankie Vaughn, Morecombe and Wise, Des O’Connor, Little and Large, The Baron Knights etc. So he is no stranger to corporate events.
He performs mostly as a solo artist using both an electric and electro-acoustic guitar. With the subtle use of SFX he can produce a unique full band sound or just a single guitar complete with real time full vocal harmonies. He can provide his own PA, so comes as a self-contained package.
He is a member of the Musicians Union and has the appropriate PLI up to £10m.
Brian has released four albums, a number of singles and an EP. In November 2021 he released his third album of Jazz and Blues crossover music entitled ‘Jazz me Blues’. He was commissioned to write a song entitled ‘Ebb and Flow’ in 2022 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Bristol Harbour Festival the theme of which was ebb and flow. In November 2022 he released his retro album ‘Rock the Yacht’ which is an album of songs heavily influenced by the ‘Yacht Rock’ genre both albums and more are available at on most streaming and download platforms. His fifth album ‘Along the Way….” which is in the country rock genre will be released later in 2023.
Brian performs a tantalising eclectic mix of country rock and pop to soft jazz and blues using material from the 70’s with a sprinkling of 60’s 80’s and one or two 90’s and noughties classics. in addition to his own material written in those genres thus providing that little bit extra and different.
