Sneekes DJ / DJ
Sneekes is a Dutch female DJ based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
She was born in The Netherlands but raised in the UK (Birmingham) for 17 years where she grew up in the era of UK Garage, Jackin’ House and Bassline.
Sneekes moved back to Holland in 2007 to pursue a musical career.
She was so captivated by the whole dance scene that she knew she wanted to become a DJ at young age.
After a few years of playing at big Dutch and international venues she developed a genuine love for Tech House, (deep) House and Techno.
Inspired by some of her favourite tracks in her sets Sneekes decided to give producing a shot.
This resulted in her first release “Don’t know what” with Big & Dirty Records. The track was released in oktober 2019 and is her debut single as a DJ.
In the first week of promotion Don’t Know What was premiered on Fedde Le Grand’s radio show Darklight sessions and Madison Mars’ House of Mars. Already with support from big names like Fedde le Grand, Chuckie, Raven & Kreyn (Hexagon) and Dante Klein among others Sneekes couldn’t have dreamt of a better debut than this one.

Na DJ Sneekes (Melissa) 1 avond te hebben zien draaien en en hebben kunnen aanschouwen hoe het publiek los ging op haar klanken is meteen besloten om haar voor 4 dagen op het zelfde festival te zetten. Leuke noot is dat zij na haar set nog even Proud Mary mee ging zingen met de artiest die na haar kwam. Super leuke actie die het hele internationale festival op z'n kop zette. Kortom, een pro die je graag op je evenement wil hebben! https://wpfgrotterdam2022.com/
Wat een geweldig optreden van DJ Melissa Sneekes en zanger Robert Harms. Mede door jullie hebben we een te gek feest gehad! Contact opgenomen via Gigstarter en hierna verliep de communocatie prima. Feitelijk weinig contact nodig omdat jullie snappen hoe je een feestje kunt maken! Geluid niet te hard, goede verdeling sets en goed contact met de gasten. Zeker een aanrader!
Melissa is a fantastic DJ. She knew how to spin the perfect tracks for my party. The combination with Ziggy Stardust experience was great. Thanks to Melissa and Ziggy the party became a succes.
