House of Light / Band
Formed in Berlin, House of Light recorded their debut album "Come Into My Night" in Berlin with Martin Fiedler (Josh T Pearson) and Gordon Raphael (Strokes, Regina Spektor). Often described as dark and melodic wiith roots in new wave, and 80s with a touch of synth & pysch / OR indie band with roots in 80s 90s musci, they have been compared to groups as varied as New Order, the Doors & Sonic youth. The lyrics tend to have a lyrical or post-romantic bent reminiscent of the optimism and of the 80s and the laments of the 90s. Their shows have been attended by the likes of Andy Rourke, Frank Black and Lydia Lunch whom they have also performed with.

House Of Light wurde von Australiern in Berlin gegründet. Sie Klagen und Balzen im shoegazy synth Guitarren Sound. Die Lyrics beziehen sich auf die Strömung der New Romantics aus den 80er Jahren und der Desillusionierung der 90er Jahre. Sie werden verglichen mit New Order, The Doors und Sonic Youth.
Sie wurden u.a. für Lydia Lunch, Pete Doherty und the Drones gebucht und interviewt von Andy Rourke von The Smiths.
Der Sound bewegt sich zwischen Shoegazy und Dark Wave mit elektronischen Einflüssen und Synth Sounds.
