Melatonin, c’est avant tout des couleurs imaginaires, des paysages troubles et oniriques. Une invitation au rêve - ou au cauchemar.
Nourris d’influences variées, du rock à l’électro, de la folk à l'ambient, les quatre musiciens en recherche constante de teintes nouvelles et de sons originaux nous délivrent une synthèse riche, toujours subtile et personnelle, pour sombrer dans une nuit scintillante et surpasser la peur du noir.
Après la sortie d’un premier clip sur la chanson “Sell Your House”, Melatonin enchaîne rapidement sur son premier disque en février 2017, le [ Magnificat EP ] : 5 titres auto-produits rappelant Arcade Fire, Radiohead ou Bon Iver avec des plages ambient disséminées tout au long du disque. Ce premier effort marque également le debut du "Magnificat Tour" durant lequel le groupe donnera une trentaine de concerts en un an à travers la France et la Suisse. Les membres de Melatonin sont dorénavant basés à Lyon et finiront leur tournée en mai 2018 à Paris.

Melatonin’s music is made of onirism, imaginary colors and blurred landscapes - an invitation to take part in dreams and nightmares alike.
Across folk, electronic, rock and ambient music, the four musicians are constantly looking for new shapes and original sounds. They deliver a rich synthesis, always subtle and personal, to make you sink into a twinkling night and transcend the fear of darkness.
Led by the lead single “Sell Your House”, Melatonin released the [ Magnificat EP ] in February 2017. These 5 self-produced tracks recall the likes of Arcade Fire, Radiohead and Bon Iver with some additional ambient spells cast all around the EP. This effort also marks the beginning of the Magnificat Tour, where the band gave in one year 30 live performances all around France and Swiss.
The members of Melatonin are now based in Lyon while finishing the last leg of the tour which will end in Paris in May 2018.
