Sora X / Solista
Sora X is a talented and experimental artist that creates expertly layered sound scapes that compliment her ethereal voice, inspired by topics of identity, loss and of course love.
She was born and raised in Hamburg, a City located in the north of Germany.
Growing up surrounded by Musicians, although never finding herself in that Art form until 2018.
Due to personal reasons she moved to London, (in 2017) and into the Longwood Hotel, which she works for as a Performer.
Her activity in other arts has always been big; Besides editing, filming and producing she was also interested in painting and acting.
In her new home she soon got inspired by her past experiences and sought out to find a new way of expression.
In 2018 she started songwriting, later that year she performed some of them at open mic nights.
Because of the new found freedom the grip that music had on her finally came through and she recorded ' 🥀 I lost too much' with her friend Pouya while visiting Hamburg in 2019.
In August 2019 she began writing a concept, that would later become "Tropical World", around that time she also befriended These Islands a Producer and DJ from Sydney, with whom she started working on the Album.
